Car Bonnets
I’m always drawn to objects that carry a story—things that are weathered, worn, and rich with history. Car bonnets are iconic symbols of journeys taken, places visited, and lives lived. They’re objects that have already traveled through time and space, often marked by scratches, dents, and rust that give them a unique character.
By painting on them, I’m adding another layer to that story —blending my own narrative through hand lettering and art. It’s about taking something ordinary or overlooked and transforming it into a piece of art that commands attention, celebrates imperfection, and makes people look twice.
I’m fascinated by how art can be both beautiful and raw, and working on car bonnets allows me to explore scale, texture, and the relationship between design and surface in a way that’s very physical and immediate.
